I painted this scene right from the jetty in Longport one late afternoon with my family. The sky was absolutely on fire—those wild oranges and pinks bleeding into deep blues—and I couldn’t look away from how perfectly they played against the cool ocean and the almost-black rocks. In the distance you can just make out the marina and the little houses along the bay. This spot has become one of our favorite place to watch the sun melt into the water, and I wanted to bottle that feeling forever. That’s Jetty Dreams—a moment we’ll always have, now on canvas.
