My artistic journey began around age seven, when my parents recognized my gift for painting and nurtured a passion that grew into a lifelong calling. From early experiments with watercolors, acrylics, and pastels, I discovered my true voice in oil painting, a medium that brings depth and texture to my work. While I’m drawn to the vivid landscapes of East Coast beaches, I also love exploring diverse techniques and subjects, animals, nature, and beyond, infusing each canvas with color, life, and the beauty of the world around me.
After moving to New Jersey in 2017 to start a new chapter with my husband and our three children, I discovered fresh inspiration in the sweeping beaches, rolling dunes, and charming architecture of my adopted home. While my roots in Nicaragua—its lush landscapes, vibrant culture, and historic architecture—still pulse through my work, I’ve fallen in love with painting the places I explore with my family, from local shorelines to cities we visit together. My children are my greatest muse and biggest fans; their boundless energy and curiosity fuel my creativity and remind me why I paint.
My signature style combines oil paints with a spatula and brush technique, creating an Impressionist effect that brings depth and movement to each piece. Whether it’s the golden glow of a New Jersey sunset or the vivid hues of a Nicaraguan vista, my goal is to craft artwork that brightens homes and stirs the soul. For me, art is a celebration of humanity’s connection to the Earth’s beauty—an invitation to pause and appreciate the world around us.
When I’m not painting, I’m embracing life as a mom, playing with my kids at the playground, preparing their favorite meals, or tending to my garden. Summer days find us at the beach, where the ocean’s rhythm sparks new ideas for my canvas. My mission is to share my art with everyone who cherishes beauty, bringing colorful, vibrant, and timeless creations into their spaces.
